Substance Use Recovery, Therapy
and Psychiatry Services

Clinical treatment for all ages. This is therapy conducted in our clinics by credentialed premier mental health professionals. This is for Ongoing Support, Stability and Rehabilitation.

Substance Use Recovery (SUDS)

Co-Occurring In Clinic Treatment

Northern Pines Substance Use Disorder Service is designed to provide
Co-Occurring outpatient treatment to adults who have substance use disorder(s) and also mental health concerns.

Evidence based research indicates that a successful recovery for Co-Occurring clients involves an interdisciplinary team offering both substance use and mental health simultaneously, in the same setting, rather than trying to treat both issues as separate problems with different providers.

The client is seen as an active partner in the development of their treatment goals.

Treatment Coordination

Our treatment coordinators help clients in the treatment planning process by working with you according to your individual treatment plan.
Treatment coordinators, within your identified goals, can help you find resources
such as, but not limited to;

  • Medication/Medical
  • Services
  • Housing
  • Transportation
  • Economic Assistance
  • Employment
  • Education
Step Down/Relapse Prevention/Recovery Group

We know that re-entering daily life is a challenge. Without the right support system to
help you handle the challenges, your chance of relapse is higher.

Northern Pines SUDS Relapse Prevention/Recovery Group helps you identify triggers and high-risk situations that could lead to relapse. Healthy recovery involves a prevention strategy from detox through every stage of your recovery.

Our staff will support you in your development of skills to manage your cravings and triggers in all situations. Effective coping skill development can defend against high-relapse situations, such as:

  • Being around drugs or alcohol
  • Cravings for substances
  • Suffering from mental health symptoms
  • High Stress situations
  • Pressure from friends/family to return to use

Group format 2x per week for 2 hours with an In-person model.

Comprehensive Assessments

We use comprehensive assessments to evaluate client substance use and to determine the level of care needed. This is available for adults as well as adolescents aged 13-17 years.

Weekly Drug/Alcohol Testing

Drug testing is provided on-site by an independent agency on group days.
Specimen collectors are trained to witness samples.
