School Offices

We have offices located inside 38 schools in 18 school districts. Being so integrated into the school operations, it is easy for those kids with questions or more critical needs to be invited to speak to our highly engaged team of mental health professionals. Appointments can be made or walk-ins can be accommodated through the front office or nurses station. Our professional staff view this as a calling to help students in any way they ask, who are going through the growing pains of becoming a self-sufficient, productive and healthy adult in the world.

Our providers can meet outside of the school offices if that is mutually decided. This can be in the community or in the students home. Programs offered are Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, Skills work – Individual or Family, and MHBA.

Our Vision

Youth Assertive Community Treatment (Y-ACT)

Youth-ACT / IRMHS provides intensive rehabilitative mental health service for youth ages 14-21 suffering from serious mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders, who need assistance, due to the severity of their symptoms, with coordinating mental health, school, employer, housing, family, and physical health services.
Y-ACT features an integrated, intensive team approach to rehabilitation and recovery.

Core Team Members:

  • Certified Peer Specialist
  • Mental Health Practitioner

Y-ACT assists youths who have a functional impairment and a history of difficulty working safely & successfully in school, work, the community, or home; or who are likely to need adult mental health services in the next two years.

Children’s Mental Health
Targeted Case Management (CMHTCM)

Children’s Mental Health Targeted Case Management (CMHTCM) provides services to children with a severe emotional disturbance.
CMHTCM works with children and families to access resources such as mental and physical health care, social, educational,
and vocational services.

Optimal outcomes may:

  • Relieve conditions leading to emotional disturbance
    and improve the personal well-being of the child
  • Improve family functioning
  • Enhance daily living skills
  • Improve functioning in education and recreation settings
  • Improve interpersonal and family relationships
  • Assist a recipient in obtaining needed services
